The End of the Blankworld Chronicles

I'll just start a new comment line for now.

Tempest nodded a silent greetings. She was still quiet around others when she first meets them. She was quietly looking around, as it was her first expierence in a different dimesion, and she was quite interested to see how her wind powers would work. During her training Frost had recommended learning more combat magic, chpas magic. She knew that would be easier for her to get used to, like shadows, so she chose wind, and she found she was quite good at things like that. Now the young wolf was quite good in combat and could easily rip phantoms to shreds. (Sorry for any typos my computer is having major lag and I have to wait for it to catch up to me.)

  1. Crystal tried to explain everything as they walked to Ennis's house, but a blast of thinner cut her off as it eroded the slippery, smooth ground.
They looked up, and bats of thinner squeaked, launching more blasts of black/ green goo.
"Stand back!" Crystal cried, and tapped into the Color energies. She became a Nega Wisp, a misty black creature.
Launching upward with the Orange Wisps' power, she launched spikes at the thinner beasts with the power of the pink wisps. Using the power of the green wisps, Crystal made them turn into blanked plants. A burst of wisps separated from her, and she came out, not even affected by the energy it took to do that.
Tempest reached for a wisp to try, but they drifted away on an invisible wind. She tried other magic, but it was snuffed out by another force.
"Tempest, you see, most magic is blocked in Blankworld. Only paint and color magic works here, but in turn paint and color magic rarely works in other dimensions, as it does not sap any sort of energy to use it. It is overpowered outside of Blankworld, in many ways."
The echidna was taller than them by at least three feet, but they managed to follow her into the rickety home of Ennis, the anamorphic rabbit with old-man's eyebrows and mustache.

  2. She wanted to ask so many questions but Tempest kept quiet as they walked into Ennis's house and dipped her head in greeting. She sat down, as it appeared they were about to have some sort of meaning. She wondered for a bit if she could harness wisps, or whatever those were, but decided against it and would try and use tooth and claw, even though those creatures seemed hard to defeat. (Sorry for shortness I don't know what to do)

  3. I'll get you started, just follow me around.
Crystal smiled warmly, and brought them some curry from the kitchen.
A faint "tink tink" echoed from behind a door, where a handmade sign read
'DO NOT ENTER OR A NEGA WISP WILL DEVOUR YOU'
Normally, both of them would just step inside, but when they saw Crystal turn into one... well, they learned not to mess with Nega wisps.
As they ate their curry, Tempest asked a question.
"Can these beasts be killed with tooth and claw?"
Crystal stared at her, and laughed.
"No, sillypoo! They are invincible without a pail of paint!"
Tempest was confused, but Crystal explained everything over their food. When she was done, Tempest nodded in understanding.
"Anyways, lets go chase down the Thinner queen and see if we can beat he-"
She was interrupted by a metal foot kicking down the door. Mecha Snowyclaw appeared.
Tempest was surprised, but Frost rolled her eyes.
"You follow us everywhere, dontcha. Now get close to me so that I can deactivate you." she muttered.

  4. Tempest leaped up, toppling the chair as she glared at MS. She sent a massive blast of wind that should have sent her slamming backwards and possibly ripped chunks of metal away, but all that happened was a light gust of wind that ruffled her fur. Cursing under her breath she flexed her claws and lashed her tail, ready to take on the robot with no magic if she had to.
She crouched down ready to spring as Mecha Snowyclaw smirked and clanked forward, "My weapons are very powerful here where as your puny little spells won't do so much as turn off a light. Give yourselves up for I am undefeatable!" She leaped aside as MS began to fire, and let out a confused beep as her missile wouldn't fire and something stopped her. Tempest sprang forward and pinned it under her claws, which sank into the metal like butter. Now it was her turn to be surprised, giving MS enough room to kick her off. She skidded and got ready to leap again.

  5. Suddenly, the robot turned into a thinner monster, and trapped Tempest inside a cage of bubbling thinner. Before she could react, Tempest was blanked and left as a white statue on the ground. The monster ran out the door, leaving Tempest's spirit stuck inside her body and Crystal scrambling for paint.
Frost, however, knew a paint spell, and got Tempest unblanked.
Tempest gasped for air, as she didn't realize the effects of blanking.
Crystal said something, and Frost nodded.
"Tempest, we're going to defeat Dark Mira. Lets go to the Thinner castle."

  6. "Where more of those things are? Also, thanks for saving me."
She was still quite shocked as they continued towards the Thinner castle, after stopping to rest halfway. In truth, Tempest didn't exactly like Blankworld, but Crystal seemed very nice and she wanted to help, even if the creatures here seemed near impossible to defeat. She shuddered at the thought of getting blanked. That had been even worse than Aphophis.

  7. Suddenly, the white ground started to become gooey and thick, becoming the substance called thinner. Both Frost and Crystal absorbed orange wisps to fly, leaving Tempest stuck at the border, forced to find an orange wisp for herself. She barely managed to find and absorb one, and became a rocket to fly all the way to the castle.

They met up on the island of white rock in the sea of thinner, where all the monsters were, and the looming tower of empty paint buckets and blanked out wisps.
Crystal shuddered in its midst, thinking about all of the wisps dying inside the tower.
After punching through the oaken door, they went up spiraling staircases to the top, trying to ignore the paintings covered with thinner and the wisps inside cages getting their life force sucked out to give the Thinner monsters new powers.
"I...hate this dismal place..." Crystal whispered, her robotic arm and leg seeming to be malfunctioning. Crystal barely could move, so Frost and Tempest had to drag her.
As they got to the top, they were greeted by Dark Mira, the grey heron with purple-black feathers. She cackled on her perch, and blasted them with a blast of thinner.
    They began to fight.

  8. Tempest leaped aside as the thinner came blasting towards them and ducked behind a pillar. Remembering the paint spell Frost had used she charged at the Mira copy and blasted it with a stream of paint. She narrowly dodged yet another blast of thinner that managed to blank the tip of her tail, which started to get hard to lug around, but she had all her attention focused on Dark Mira, who was angrily shaking her melting feathers and regenerating. She cast a glance over her shoulder to see the others; Frost was fighting a few thinner monsters along with Crystal. One detached and began to drift towards her and she growled at it. She quickly leapt at it and as it opened up to engulf her she blasted it with some paint before leaping away. Cringing she felt something cold on her spine and looked around to see yet another Thinner, dripping on her. She yelped scrambled backwards before casting another paint spell.
A few thinner monsters later she was getting quite tired and now had to limp, because her back leg was stone cold and white, covered in thinner. "They just keep coming," she muttered. Dark Mira was cackling as she continued to blast random thinner into the fray, which was getting hard to dodge since it pulled everywhere.

  9. Frost was wagering close combat with Dark Mira, despite being related (to a certain extent) with Dark Mira. The heron flapped her wings, and the world twisted.
"Hrgh!" Crystal cried, barely managing to spray Tempest with some paint to restore her.
    The world swirled.

Tempest, Frost and Crystal awoke on a river of running thinner, but then, a road of blocks paved over the liquid. Dark Mira cackled, flying ahead of them. Her chest faced them, because for some reason Dark Mira was flying backwards, but Frost was too wise to let her go. She scratched Dark Mira with her claws, which had running paint surrounding them. The thinner dripped, as if Dark Mira was nothing but a gooey liquid.
She flew ahead, feathers shimmering with power. Stars danced in the sky, and the white expanse of Blankworld extended below them.
They were on a road of thinner and concrete, high above Blankworld, maybe several thousand feet. Everyone, even Dark Mira, were gasping for air.
"You will never beat me with just paint!" Dark Mira screeched, her black eyes full of evil.
Suddenly, Crystal absorbed a green wisp, and became a green creature. The creature ran across the concrete, and covered Dark Mira with watercolor plants. Dark Mira hissed, not at all heron-like.
A white wisp joined with Tempest's body, and she felt herself running more quickly, and pummeling Dark Mira with paint.
More wisps slowly joined them, despite Dark Mira blasting all three challengers with thinner and Impurity Control using her own feather's powers. Crystal, Tempest and Frost slowly became the legendary Nega Wisp.
"No! This won't happen!" Dark Mira screeched.
Suddenly, the three Nega Wisps spoke in unison:
"Dark Mira, perish with the Thinner creatures! Dark Mira, begone! Dark Mira, you will comply and be locked inside Tempest's soul, for all eternity!"
Dark Mira screeched, and Tempest got one more powerful.
The scene fading away, they awoke in their respective rooms in Ennis's house.

  10. Tempest felt more energized then ever, though her companions couldn't say the same. They were all tired after the battle, but for some reason Tempest felt better than before they had started, as if she had tapped into a few Mira feathers in fact. She had blacked out after they formed the nega wisp and woke up on her bed in Ennis's house. She didn't know how though and was slightly confused but happy the battle was over. She went into the kitchen to find everyone sitting at a table over a steaming bowl of very colorful soup.
"Finally decided to come in here, eh," Crystal said looking up from her soup.
Frost glanced over from a conversation with Ennis, "Feel any different Tempest?"
"Why?" Tempest was slightly confused over her concern, as she was unused to it.

  11. Crystal explained everything.
Tempest gasped in horror, and ripped at her chest. Frost smiled.
"Relax, Tempest, those who are already darkened can harness the powers of the corrupted risk-free. You are partial-dark shell, so you can use her powers and not get corrupted. Believe me, I harnessed the powers of Agate before when he was still with me, and I survived."
Tempest sighed, and ate some soup. Afterwards, Tempest decided to go train in Ennis's backyard.

  12. She focused her attention on the target and narrowed her eyes. Tempest had found she could use most of her magic now with the power of Dark Mira, but it was more tiring then it was back in Jamaa. Pretending the target was a phantom she sank into the shadows and appeared behind it, then she unleashed a blast of wind that sent the wood rocketing over 50 feet into the air. She leapt up, balancing on cushions of air, and reared back slicing the target to ribbons with her claws, as she muttered a quick strength spell. Suddenly, she launched herself from the air and plummeted downwards, like a downed duck. Using Dark Mira's powers she was encompassed by a Jello-like heron replica. She knew it was a waste of energy, but she found it fun to fly around as it, even though she felt like a mattress was about to crush her to the ground. Landing lightly she dropped the magic and stood silently, regaining her energy.

  13. Frost joined her, suggesting they should practice-spar to explore their limits.
They healed themselves at the wisp sanctuary, where Yacker was willing to lend them a boost, and then faced on the field of dust.
Frost leaped, and struck Tempest with deadly accuracy, sharp claws piercing Tempest's stomach and scraping her spine.
Tempest blasted her back with a jet of wind (the ring made normal magic work), but blood came out in a waterfall.
Frost stopped to gather energies from her Mira Feathers, putting up a shield to defend against attacks. Tempest tried to get out of the way, but Frost blasted her with meteors of blue light. Icefire also pelted down on her like hail, and Tempest was struggling to stay awake as her body weakened.

  14. ( Sorry about lateness, got sucked into a movie. )

Tempest tried to keep her mind and not panic, as was best to do in battle and thought for a second about her next move, and she was very aware of the dull ache in her stomach, which she had casted a pain spell not to get in the way. Gathering power from the heart-stone she healed herself, still dizzy from blood loss though. Her pelt burned where the icefire had hit so she constructed a shield of wind that sent the shards ricocheting back at Frost. Now they were arrows of ice and they slammed through Frost's shield, shattering it, and dug deep into her sides and soon the ground was slick with blood. Then, darting forward she summoned another blast of wind to propel her forward as she slid under her and raked her pin-point sharp claws along the length of her underbelly as flesh split. She then summoned an acute blast of wind, like something that would come from a jet engine, that made the already shredded skin of her underbelly split open wider like a door to the muscle. Tempest gritting her teeth in pain, slammed her claws in a precise spot that caused pain to arch along Frost's back legs and made her temporarily immobile. As she began to feel light headed from her earlier wound she blasted up on a column of air, hopefully out of Frost's reach and best as she could made a shield against the icefire. Tempest slowly drew on the power of Dark Mira to help her regain her earlier health.

  15. Frost resisted, and for a moment summoned the powers of Icirrus Chronos, overwhelming Tempest with a blast of perfectly timed icefire.
Tempest shuddered as she nearly slipped into semi-consciousness, but then Frost drained her mana with a healing spell that restored both of them. The Mira Feathers within her refilled her mana quickly.
"W-wha?" Crystal cried as she ran out of Ennis's house. She had seen the aura of Chronos resonating off her, and realized her fears were confirmed.
"Frost," Crystal breathed, "the lord of time, Icirrus Chronos, has chosen you as his successor. Go back to your world, and talk with Keldeo and Vicky. They both have a part to play in this. Apophis has made a move to summon Icirrus Chronos from Hyrestia, and we must act quickly. Please, go. The final battle is coming soon."
They ended up in Keldeo's room, where the little colt stood up, startled.
