Amelia sat on her beanbag chair, licking her paws, when Ka suddenly spoke. He hadn't spoke in quite a while or boosted her power at all, so she had forgotten he was there. Amelia had assumed he had moved on to a new host, losing interest in her, but the oath he had sworn also bound him to her body. Try to escape, and both spirits would blow into shards.
"Hello, Amelia. I hadn't realized you still remember meee. You see, I wish to do one thing- bathe in Soleanna's Spring, the ancient spring underneath the ice in Mount Shiveer. Otherwissssse.... I might weaken in this state so much I kill you. Pleassseeeee, for both of ussss... break the icceee and bathe. Nobody will mind, but be quick- the ice freezes over quickly." hissed Ka. Amelia shuddered at the prospect of dying. As an Alpha, she couldn't die most ways, but the spells only could go so far, as Greely's death had shown. However, they were revived easier than mortals.
After some pondering, Amelia sighed.
Ka seemed to smile sleepily inside her.
Amelia didn't want to make people go frantic about the ice being able to be broken, so she blocked off the public part of the mountain so that she could work.
Amelia clawed and scrabbled at the thin ice, but it didn't do much good. She hopped on it, but when she stopped to plunge into the cracks, the ice froze over again.
Amelia even tried blasting it with icefire and brisingr fire, but nothing much happened.
Just when she was about to give up in despair, Ka simply lifted up the ice with telekinesis.
"Thank you," Amelia half-heartedly muttered, and dove into the spring to do what Ka had wished to do.
When she got out, Amelia felt good.
Instantly, Ka let go of the ice, and it plopped down into the hole with a SPLASH.
Amelia felt no different, but had many questions for Ka.
She put them aside for later, and let the Jammers get back in.
Amelia teleported back home.
