Cornelius's Short Biography

Cornelius, the sly crocodile Alpha, has many of Drakus's qualities, but without wyvern powers and much, much wiser. His powerful jaws snap Phantoms in half with ease, but has caused indigestion more than ten times because he accidentally swallowed a piece.
On the mention of fish, he will go bonkers to get some. Like Ruby, he has lost several battles because of his desire for tasty food. Unlike her, though, he has improved greatly.
Cornelius is often stereotyped, like Greely, for his connection to dark magic, but he actually was apprenticed to Apophis as a small child because Apophis frequently attacked the Crocodile tribe. However, after nine years of training, he was sent back to his tribe in secret. After this, he has a secret mark on his belly that looks like a phantom, showing Apophis planned the conquest of Jamaa even before he had gained enough power to travel through the Duat.
Cornelius can wield  many dark powers, such as giving nightmares to others and creeping up under the shadows. Unlike Greely, though, he has a much stronger connection and can actually control a large amount of phantoms for a prolonged time. These powers have been used against and for Apophis more than once.
He swims with strength, sneaking up behind opponents and killing them with a bite to the neck. Despite being an Alpha, he has used this to kill those who though crocodiles didn't deserve to live in Jamaa. Drakus also has done this.
Even though some of the Alphas think he will betray them in the future, Cornelius is a power that is crucial in the battle against the Phantoms. His cleverness has served the Alphas when they needed it. To this day, he is a powerful Alpha, respected by some and hated by many.
