This shop is ancient, once an altar to Zios. However, when the phantoms invaded, Lisa was forced to move it to its own pocket dimension to preserve it and the precious power-infused diamonds within. They grew on bushes, blessed by a Mira Feather at an early stage.
The bushes were maintained by the Mira Feather's power, and grew all over the place. Lisa had meant to take the altar out when the phantoms left, but forgot about it. Only when the wild plants started to cause space-time rifts did Lisa remember and take the temple out, which was recently. She had to enlist the help of Metal Cosmo to remove the overgrown parts and to tame the plants. But they were too late to save many of the precious relics, and so they were clueless as of how to use the temple. After all, it wasn't time to let Jamaasians fight the evil quite yet.
However, the young Twoleg named Olivia spoke up, and told them that they should harvest the jewels and distribute them around Jamaa so that Jammers could purchase animals and other fantastic items in the shop. Every Alpha (even the grouch Greely) agreed to this, and so construction began.
First of all, they had to renovate the altar. What was a shop that wasn't in decent condition?
Second of all, they added Olivia's statue to honor her contribution. They also managed to preserve the Zios-themed door.
Oh, the Jammers flocked to the rarity store like mice to cheese! Olivia and the Alphas and Jamaasian Heroes were glad to see the hype and excitement building around the new store, yet they were glad they knew the truth.
I made a response to the Monday Mystery too, but it was too long to be commented on AJS. Ill post it as Alternate legend of the diamond shop! If you let me, of course.
ReplyDeleteSure! If you don't want to ask permission, just put it on your page.
Delete:) Im glad Olivia's been used for something other than slouched in her den thinking of ways to remove phantoms from Jamaa :)
