Drakus took pride in leading his kin to glory.
He believed crocodiles were treated like ghosts, and his measures to ensure they were respected were often questioned, but he always meant the best for the future. Drakus had been an outcast in Jamaa until Mia and Frost saved him, brightening up his days and declaring him a Jamaasian Hero.
However, something still made him wonder.
What was his blurry past, and how did he have a special bond with the dragon kind?
He had no parents, as he was an orphan, but his case was different from Ledra's. Drakus had always fought Bloodclan, those stinky hybrids, for the scraps in the alleyways and slept on Bubble Wrap. He had never received formal training or been blessed by Mira or Zios or any of the other gods, yet he still possessed great power.
He thought all this as he paced back and forth in Jamaa Township, trying to remain unseen.
Ledra had recently left to "make things right", but he was determined to lead the crocodiles to defeat the phantoms AND discover his past at the same time.
Multi-tasking, but efficiently.
Drakus transformed into a wyvern, quickly reaching a speed of Mach 3 and flew away to Crystal Sands, where he could go fishing.
As he batted some fish out of the water and ate them, he considered going on a solo quest to battle his way to the faraway lands of the wyverns (just south of Appondale, where there were some trees and grass) and find out the truth from the Wyvern Master Elder, where Drakus could receive the information from Zios himself, and maybe some details from Firetail, too.
But would the risk be worth it? The Master Elder wasn't always in the mood to tap into the energies of the deities, and sometimes Zios would lock himself from any external contact. Plus, there were plenty of dangers reaching the Wyvern Temple. However, his flying speed and combat skills probably could beat up most of the dangers in his path. Besides, as a child of the wyverns, he should be able to reason with the Master Elder if he needed to.
Drakus thought that pro outweighed con, and flew southwest.
