Day Of The Phantoms

October 31st. The last day of the moon. The day the phantoms came.
Sir Gilbert was consumed by grief after he had slayed Zios, and everyone in Jamaa was tense despite their new freedom. Some of the creatures Lisa had saw "born" from Mira's tears were spotted moving around Jamaa, and everyone was worried they would be a nuisance.
Little did they know that their birth would result in over two major wars, and kill off most of Jamaa's population. Little did they know doomsday would arrive not too soon. Little did they know that letting those creatures live was a deadly decision.
Apophis's essence seeped through the ground, eager to befriend and use these new creatures. He was careful not to leave behind a trail of blackened grass, as tempting as it was.
After all, he needed not to be discovered to fulfill his ultimate plan to control Jamaa and use it as a base to reclaim the world.
Today, the world would change.
Today, change would come.
Today, a new era would be born.
An era of grief, misery, anger, and resentment.
Apophis was almost crawling all over with excitement, and he cackled.
"Oh, I can feel power of Sir Gilbert's grief and resentment now! He will be key to ultimate takeover!"
Suddenly, he remembered Stormy, the only one in the world who cared for him.
Stormy... He had failed her...
Little transparent tears gathered in Apophis's eyes, but he shook them away.
The overlord of the world shouldn't grieve.
Suddenly, three of the "phantoms" touched down. They were surprised to find a little purple goo puddle.
"My creations, follow me. I will feed you with all of the emotions you need. Follow me, and start a new era. Follow me, and become my generals." Apophis hissed.
One of the phantoms tried to zap him, but the goo was unaffected.
"I indirectly made Mira create you. Would you rather die at the hands of Greely, that menace? Or would you rather follow me to usher in a new era of prospering evil and balance?" Apophis said.
The phantoms hissed, but gathered at his side.
"Stand back, my new minions. Give Apophis space to split."
The phantoms were wary about their new master, but stood back anyway.
Apophis tapped into the dark energies of the Duat swirling around him, and hieroglyphics floated in a rotating circle around him.
A cyclone of the hieroglyphics rose from the goo, and for a moment Apophis transformed into his true self- a burning pyre of black flames in an adder shape.
Then, Apophis's shell cracked to reveal more light. Two crude phantoms were formed, one female and the other male.
The Phantom Queen smiled with her eye, and so did the Phantom King.
"Follow me, phantoms, as we will tear the connection to nature the Alphas have..."

The reason why the Day Of The Phantoms is named so? It is the day that time and space was ripped apart as phantom and Jamaasian fought, and so it formed a different pocket dimension- the Phantom Vortex. This dimension was the embodiment of Apophis's troubled mind, and had a small altar where Jamaasians were able to defend magical power-up candy from the phantoms.
To this day, Jamaasians and half-bloods (like Frost) alike join forces to repel the phantoms to lower the chance of a breach in the borders, and make fires during October to keep the darkness at bay and prevent their evil deeds.
However, when the Phantoms arrive and overcome the borders, will we be prepared?
