Mira glanced out her statue's eyes. She sighed as she saw the dark shells and scammers roaming her land. Oh, only if she had enough energy to come out of her shell! Then, she could banish these evil Jammers to the badlands beyond Jamaa's borders.
Part of her spirit was in Cosmo's stone, giving him help on his long journey, but enough of her was in the statue for her consciousness to be aware only of the events around the statue.
She nearly wept tears when she saw people punching her statue and doing bad deeds near it. What had Jamaa become?
However, just when the sun was setting and it was time for her nightly flyover of Jamaa in her dreams, her very daughter ran over and kneeled.
"O, Mother Sky, you hold hope for Jamaa. You are our very beacon of purity! Persist, and break free of this shell you are trapped in, I forsake you! Jamaa's destiny depends on you!" she said, careful not to draw the attention of the other Jammers around the shrine area.
She knelt for a little more, then left.
Jamaa's destiny... Her breakthrough...
Mira would break through, she knew it. Jamaa depended on her, and she certainly wouldn't let down her land, her spirit, and everyone awaiting the phantoms.
She would bring glory to Jamaa.
