Short: Amelia's Training

Amelia slunk through the shadows, wielding shruikans. Those weapons didn't suit her style of combat, close combat, but they had to do.
She quickly threw some at the phantoms in the dining room, devouring gems. All of a sudden, they exploded in a puff of smoke. She quickly shadow-blended to avoid discovery, as Greely taught her.
Some of the cooks (more like jewel- magicians) peered around the corner, ready to whack somebody with a skillet or a wand.
Amelia had to avoid breathing to make sure they didn't spot her, but after hissing "Where is he?" several times and lunging at the air as a threat, they disappeared back into the room.
Amelia slowly came back into view, and listened carefully. She was sly enough to  know that using a metal device or a spell would attract the attention of the guards. She already was being pursed by some nomad phantoms roaming the parts of Jamaa the phantoms still controlled, and she didn't want to have to fight thousands of phantoms at once.
She was listening for the rumors of the phantoms ready to attack Brady's lab, and also blow up the Alpha Hut. (This happened after the events of Nanyte Strikes back.) Whenever a rumor reached an Alpha's ears, the rumor usually was true.
Amelia, the psychopath she was, defied the clear rules Greely had warned her to follow strictly, and contacted Frost, who was on the other side of the palace. She also was being pursed by those angry nomads they just had "borrowed" some marshmallows from, and so she was also on the lookout for bearded phantoms barging over the rope bridge wielding daggers and marshmallow bags.
Seriously, those nomads protected their exotic chocolate marshmallows with their lives. Why, Amelia didn't know.
"Psst. Frost. How is washing the dishes going?" (Psst. Frost. How is skewering those who stand in our path going?") Amelia whispered. She used code, of course, in case some jewel-magician or guard thought-tapped her signal. It would just make them lock down the palace, which was what they needed.
"Amelia, you shouldn't do this! Look, the soap bubbles are interesting, but soon the warden will catch me and make me scrub more." ("Amelia, this is against the rules we clearly need to follow! The various warts and imperfections on the phantoms make me want to barf, but at this rate the guards will catch me and hang me!") Frost snarled.
"Look, Frost, we need to move. I've just found out their plans are what the rumors spoke of. Time to escape, and quickly!" Amelia screeched. Part of her message came out of her mouth, and immediately little metal droids attacked her face, blinding her.
Amelia focused even as pain shot up her face, and teleported back to the Alpha Hut.
