Crystal is a green anamorphic echidna that guards the people of Blankworld, but recently the Thinner race, beasts made of thinner, have been "blanking" out her citizens to gain their Color powers. She has several friends, such as the old blacksmith rabbit Ennis and the quirky raccoon Pyro. Crystal has power over the Color Wisps, the creatures of Blankworld that have special powers depending on their color that enable them to help their harnesser traverse land and fight. There is the Pink Wisp, which makes you a spiky ball at will for climbing walls, the Dark Blue Wisp, for turning you into a box and dissolving platforms, the Yellow Wisp, which turns you into a drill to go through soft ground, the Red Wisp, that surrounds you with flames to blast enemies with fire, the Orange Wisp, that makes you a rocket to fly, the Green Wisp, which turns you into a moving plant that makes you able to turn other enemies into flowers, the Purple Wisp, which turns you into a Thinner monster devouring anything in your way, and the White Wisp (no special form), which boosts your stamina, along with the Teal Wisp, which makes you a living pinball, and the rare form Nega Wisp, which is a combination of all of the wisps and makes you invincible.
Dark Mira was shaped by Apophis from the shadow of Mira's statue to capture the Jamaasian Heroes for his plan to kill the Jamaasian Heroes, but she turned on him and flew to Blankworld. Since then, with her powers that contrast Mira's, Dark Mira has become the Thinner Queen, driving MF's androids out and preparing to take over Blankworld. However, Crystal opposes her, and since they have fought relentlessly.
