Prologue
Snowyclaw and Mia held Frost in their jaws, and dragged her to the Alpha hut.
While they walked through Jamaa, they noticed how much damage Nanyte had done.
Smoke rose from many dens, the trees were burning, some of the rocks in the canyons were frozen solid, and many bleeding Jammers and prelates lay on the ground, just to name a few problems.
Worst of all, Jamaa was in ruins with nobody that was strong enough to do anything about it.
As they set Frost down in Cosmo's room, where he was overloaded with injured Jammers and dying Prelates, Amelia walked in slowly, covered with nips and scratches.
"I am sorry, Mia and Snowy, but we must take Frost for a trial. She has betrayed Jamaa." Amelia said, her eyes full of sorrow for her apprentice.
Mia's face was startled.
"The Alphas can't blame her, Amelia, she was a pawn in what happened!" Mia cried. Amelia shook her head.
"These are our ways, and they have protected Jamaa for millenia. Even the Alpha of rebels cannot break the ancient laws." Amelia said, her tone full of regret.
Snowy growled.
"Take her away, and you lose some strong supporters!" she snarled, and Mia joined in.
Amelia's face was deadly calm.
"I am truly sorry that I have to do this."
She glared at the young heroes, freezing them in a thick layer of ice.
