"Amelia, what is that shield?" she asked her mentor. Amelia laughed.
"Why, of course, it is Graham's shield, broken into several pieces after a phantom shattered it. It hangs here because the shield protected Graham and the sentries he was leading to patrol Jamaa." Amelia explained. Before she could do anything, Frost was sent back in time to watch and learn.
"Are we done walking around Jamaa?" a monkey complained as they shuffled in a single file line behind the old inventor. Frost and Amelia were drifting along like ghosts, barely keeping up with their march. Just when the mosquitoes seemed to be annoying them on purpose, a phantom came out of nowhere and tried to blast them with a thunderbolt, but instead shattered the steel shield into five pieces. The wards over the shield shattered, and like invisible glass killed their attacker.
"There is a phantom over the border! We must tell Lisa!" Graham cried. The sentries walked back to the hut while Graham picked up the pieces.
Frost was back in the present, in the Chamber Of Knowledge.
"See, Graham has more to him than messed-up intellect and bad jokes, Frost." Amelia said. Frost nodded.
"Maybe there is, Amelia, maybe there is." she replied, suddenly respecting Graham a tad more than she used to.
Wow! Amy! This is amazing! Keep up the great work! :D
