The ALTERNATE Diamond Shop story

The Story of the Diamond Shoppe
By Ibp911

A long, long time ago, A young wolf pup was born. He was born into the wolf pack Aurora Borealis. It was a sweet spring day and rain was beginning to fall when one she-wolf laid down to rest in a grey-skied meadow. A baby was born and was named Greely, which means grey meadow. Greely was a quite adventurous pup, and loved to play fight. His most prized toy was his copper and ebony colored tail armor. The pack traveled a lot, and moved from place to place searching for food and shelter. One day, when Greely was older, and about 2 years old, the pack began to wander off. Greely had forgotten his tail armor! He ran back towards the cave where the  pack had been staying. By the time he reached the cave, he was panting.  By the time he found his tail armor, the pack was gone. Greely traveled in solitary for years, and that is when he found his power. One day, while he was lapping up water, Greely heard sad, upsetting cries. He tracked the sound to a young Artic wolf, who had a deep bleeding gash on her back. She told Greely all about herself. Her name was Clarisse, and she was the same age as Greely. Soon enough, young pups were born, and their names were Ashley and Torros. They were very playful. One day while Greely was off chasing phantoms, Ashley, (or Ashes) And Torros decided to play tag. They chased each other around great oaks, pines and even shops. Ashes and Torros had inherited Greely’s shadow traveling power, and loved to play with it. Ashes was chasing Torros, when suddenly they both knocked into a hard wall. Confused, for it appeared as though nothing was there,The pair tried to run into it again. It was solid. They shadow traveled into the shop, which was dark and only illuminated by torches. They cowered in fear, but then felt a wisker-like tickling sensation brush over them. Feathers. They heard a sharp crow. Suddenly the whole room lit up. A tall heron stood over them. “Hello” She whispered. Her voice sounded like a gushing waterfall. She smiled at them. “Come young pups. No need to fear. I will show you something not many Jamaasians have seen before.” “Jamaasians?” Questioned Torros. “ Who are the Jamaasians?”  The heron smiled. “ First of all, my name is Mira. I am goddess of the sky, and creator of the phantoms.” “You created the phantoms?” Cried Ashley. “ Our brave father has to risk his life because of you! Why would you create such an evil force?” Mira replied, “ I did not mean to. My tears formed the beasts.” “Lets get to the point” said Torros.” Who are the Jamaasians?” Mira waved her wing.” Follow me” Everything went black. Suddenly, Ashley and Torros  were in a large field. “This,” said Mira “Is Jamaa.” Torros laughed. “This is Jamaa?” “This is Jamaa.Your brave father is working hard to save this land. Because one day, millions of Jamaasians will thrive here. But if we do not work hard to save it now, it will be forever gone.”  Suddenly they were all back in the shop. “ Remember all you have learned today.” Instructed Mira. Then she disappeared. “ Ashley! Torros!” Clarrise cried. There were tears in her eyes. “Yes Mommy?” Called the kids. “ Come here. Now.” When they reached their mom, they found Greely. His back was bleeding. He groaned. Clarisse explained,” A phantom. It stung him. Phantom waves are much more powerful then any lightning bolt.”
Years later, Torros was walking along a creek when he heard a familiar voice. Mira appeared. “Torros...” She whispered. “Torros, come with me.” He had no choice. Soon enough, he was in a bustling street. “Your father.” she said. “Greely. He is of the highly respected form. He was announced an Alpha for his work. An Alpha, you know not of the honors.” They walked through the township. They walked by a small bunny. He was a baby, but it was obvious he was less fortunute. How is it, Torros thought, that artic wolves are striding around with designer skirts while some animals have to suffer. Mira smiled at him. “I have a gift for you.” she said. “I will grant you any wish.” Torros thought hard. He thought about the poor bunny. “I wish there was a currency, a very great currency that could buy the poor items that make the poor not as poor. Call them diamonds, after my father’s birthstone!” “ How will we get so many of the rare stones?” Questioned Mira. “We will grow them on small bushes called Blumberry bushes. We will distribute them. Oh it will be great Mira! Thank You! Thank You!!!” Mira smiled. “ I am sure the Jamaasians will appreciate it.” With a whisk of her wing,
a dome shaped temple-like building appeared. They stepped inside. A clean marble statue of Torros stood. He was in a graceful poze, his leg raised. On the beautiful wooden doors stood a clean etching of Zios. “What is that?” asked Torros. “It is the creator of me. Zios. The most mighty of them all. He used to be my idol. I had feelings for him. When he left, my tears created the phantoms. “
Years later, the Alphas herded into the Diamond Shoppe. Phantoms had invaded it, and the Alphas chased them down. The battle lasted several days. But by the time the Phantoms died out, many cracks were in the statue.  But after a long time, they were mainly fixed. After thousands of years, the diamond shop finally opened. Jamaasians could become artic wolves just like Clarisse.
The Diamond Shoppe was finally opened. And even after his passing, Torros never forgot the young bunny, who was now a warrior in the Alpha Clan. The Diamond Shoppe, which was created in a long, interesting and historical way  was a solution for everyone.

  1. Great job! Also, for Amy, here's my continuation of the Rogues of Jamaa:
    Part 1
Tango opened her eyes. A tiger was sitting next to her. He seemed familiar, but she didn’t know who he was. In fact, she wasn’t even sure who she was.
“Hello,” said the tiger. “I am Twilight. Do you want me to tell you who you are? I’m expecting you forget.”
    Tango nodded eagerly.
“Your name is Crow. You are on my side and want to destroy Jamaa. You also do anything I say. You remember that now.” The last sentence was not a question, but a command. Suddenly, Tango (or should I say, Crow) had false memories of slaving for Twilight, feeling happy of doing it, and false feelings of hatred towards Jamaa. Crow nodded.
“Follow me.” Crow obediently walked after Twilight, and they stopped outside Mia’s den.
“Inside that den lives an Arctic Wolf named Mia. She acts really sweet, but you hate her. Now you have to go inside and destroy her. She isn’t home right now, so let’s hide here. Tell her that you need her to come back, because you have something important to tell her.”
Crow did as told. In a couple of minutes, Mia was racing back into her den alone, not having reached the heroes yet.
“Her weakness is that she will help anyone. Now set this trap and destroy her!”
Crow nodded, took the trap, and set it outside the den. Then she called out. “Mia help!”
The sound of paw steps racing towards the door was heard and it creaked open as Mia raced out. “Tango, what’s wr-“
Mia was caught in the trap. Crow cackled gleefully. “You fell for it.”
Mia stared at Crow in shock. “I don’t get it, Tango. Is this some kind of a joke? If it is, then take me out now.”
Crow widened her eyes in mock surprise. “A joke? Who would think of it? And by the way,” snapped Crow,” My name isn’t Tango.”
Mia winced at the harshness and hatred in Crow’s words, and the trap already starting to work. “Ok, please tell me this is a joke.”
Oh, is the little arctic wolf scared,” sneered Crow in a baby voice.
Twilight walked calmly up behind Crow. Mia gave a start when she saw him. “Tango! Can you please get some sense into your little brain and get me out of here?”
Twilight sat down. “I believe she is being very sensible already.”
Mia’s mouth dropped open. “Then you’re- together?”
“Yes, we’re together,” Crow said, mimicking Mia’s voice. “Hadn’t you already guessed? Or do you need Frost to help you? Jamaa is going down.”

    1. Part 2
Mia’s voice shook with pain, her strength wearing away. “Tango, I don’t know what's gotten into you."
Crow sneered at her. “What’s gotten into me has always been there, and always will be.”
Mia trembled. They must have done something to Tango somehow. Made her forget. There must be a way to bring Tango back. Something she could never forget. Maybe… what she had seen the other night?
“Artificial wings! Flying artificial wings!” Mia blurted out.
Crow stopped taunting Mia and shot a confused look at Twilight. “What’s she talking about? I think you need to talk some sense into her.”
Mia took a deep breath, trying to bury the panic inside her. Maybe something else would work. Perhaps… Mira? Mira was deeply special to Tango.
“Mira! Mira!” Mia shouted, almost a cry.
“Yes Mira. Mira will be forgotten soon,” replied Crow menacingly.
Mia almost willed the trap to work faster. She was sick of seeing her friend acting like this. Then a light bulb went off in Mia’s head. What was THE most important thing to Tango? Collectibles for her. She was obsessed with them and had to have every one she saw.
“Jewels! Jewels Tango! I have jewels for you!” Mia felt hopeless, but it was worth a try.
Tango shook her head, and then seemed to drool. “Jewels? Where?”
Mia felt hopeful. “Over there,” she pointed weakly.
Tango raced as fast as her little paws would carry her to the spot Mia pointed. Then her ears drooped. “I don’t see any jewels-“
Tango turned around and stopped dead when she saw Mia in the trap. “Mia! What happened?” Her gaze hardened as she looked at Twilight. “Did he do that to you?”
Mia sighed. “Tango, I don’t know how to tell you this, but-“
“It was your own doing!” Hissed Twilight.
Tango stared, frozen in shock. Then, she sprinted over to Mia.
“I don’t know what you’re trying to say, but whatever it is, it’s not true,” growled Tango at Twilight over her shoulder, helping Mia out of the trap. “I would never do something like this to my friends!”
“Oh, but you already have,” said Twilight.
Tango had had enough. She felt herself instinctively melding into the earth. Using as much power as she could, she pushed a mountain without a tip around Twilight. She was just about to seal it off when she saw Twilight flying out, his artificial wings spread. Tango watched him go, hearing his scream.
      “I’ll get you Tango!”
Tango pulled the mountain underground. “Mia, what really happened?”
Mia knew Tango wouldn’t want to hear this, but she needed to know. “Here’s what I think. Well, I heard you call for help, and I ran outside and fell into a trap. You were acting like you hated me and wanted to destroy Jamaa. Then Twilight came and I found out you were together. I was about to die. I tried to bring you back, but neither attempt worked. Then, when I called out that I had jewels, you ran over to where I pointed and then you were- well, back to normal.”
Tango felt horror creep up her spine. She had nearly destroyed her friend! “But- why would I do that?”
Mia sighed. “I think Twilight made you forget everything you knew. Then he told you that you hated Jamaa, and got you to help him. We just need to watch out for him now.”
Tango looked up at the sky where Twilight had flown off. Inside her, hatred bubbled inside her. That tiger had almost cost her friend’s life! He was going to pay…
      To be continued…
Note: As an effect from what happened, occasionally Tango would become Crow again, set out to destroy Jamaa. She wasn’t dangerous to anyone except Mia, as the only hero she had ever been ordered to destroy was Mia. Like this time, the only way Mia could stop her was by mentioning that she had jewels.
