Harper was bored after a long day of nothing but eating coleslaw, and wandered off into Tierney's hutch.
"Hello, Tierney," Harper said as she saw the Twoleg scrub the jellyfish tank. After the Twoleg Shaman had become Firetail, Harper had a small fear of Twolegs, but she became fast friends with Tierney Thys. However, they only got to talk when Tierney wasn't far away at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium, which was only during the weekend.
"Hello, Harper. Do you want a jellyfish?" Tierney asked her, pulling out a dead jellyfish from the tank. Harper wasn't in the mood for a snack, but she still took the jellyfish anyway.
As she munched on the yummy jellyfish, Harper started to take some machines from Tierney's tables. She was sure her friend would be fine as long as she didn't break anything. Harper took a few tools to craft stuff and to derust, and to even drill a hole.
"Watcha' planning, Harper?" Tierney asked her as she got ready to dive into the Kani Tunnel. Harper glanced at the Twoleg, and sent her a message of glances. Tierney nodded.
"I'll be here waiting with some crabmeat once you're done, okay?" Tierney told Harper as the sea swallowed her.
Thick marine vegetation would've obscured the casual diver's view when they got into Kani Cove, but Harper hacked it apart. As she expected, a broken ship back from when Melville fought the Phantom Pirates lay in the sands, not yet excavated but already made into a furniture shop. Harper decided to explore a bit and maybe retrieve a tome of prophecies she found earlier.
Because of her presence, the land was locked down. Harper was unstopped as she slunk into a small gap in the wooden ship.
Like oil, parts of the phantoms still rotted away as they rejoined the fabric of time, water slowing down their journey to the Duat and beyond. In the mounds and mounds of gold doubloons weighing down the ship and contaminating seawater, a large, heavy ancient tome lay, somehow untouched by time. Harper barely had enough energy to teleport it to her room back in the hut, but she imagined how many prophecies the Alphas could uncover just because of that drop of energy.
The corridors were winding, but finally Harper mapped every inch of the ship. Harper swam out, determined to go to her rewards of a party, hours of reading....and of course, crabmeat.
Bonus Content (if you are reading this, which you are probably not)
Did you know that some of the tomes Harper recovered were possessed by phantoms? Yes, the pens that touched them danced across the page, which is a sign they are desperate for entertainment!
Yep, and Frost was born AFTER Harper looked inside, jeez!
